Welcome to our Kentucky home…
Heating /Air Conditioners * For air conditioner, turn to cool setting and adjust temperature, leave fan setting on auto. Please do not turn air temperature below 79 degrees.
*Keep blinds in living room closed in late afternoon to keep house cool.
*Turn off air conditioning at the end of your stay. *In heating months (November to March), turn thermostat to "heat" and adjust temperature. Leave thermostat set on 60 degrees for heat when you leave.
Waste Handling *Please put all garbage in bags, tie close, and put in receptacle with lid outside.· Extra bags are under kitchen sink.·
*Extra trash can be disposed of in Aurora at the county dump. Take 68 east 2 miles to Cherokee Lane, turn left. (near Kenlake camp area.)If you don`t want to go to the dump leave $20.00 on the counter for the trash to be picked-up.
*All linens supplied including towels, but please bring your own beach towels. Leave your beds unmade at end of your stay so the house cleaners know what linens to wash.
*Extra linens are located in the master bedroom closets.
Safety *Safety is important at the Kentucky Lakefront Scenic Retreat.
To make our home safe and enjoyable for all our family and friends, please do not smoke inside the house, or throw cigarette butts on the property. The area gets very dry and a fire could start. Butt receptacles are located on each deck. *Please supervise children closely, especially on the boat dock and decks. We are not responsible for accidents, and want your stay with us to be enjoyable and safe.

Deposits:
Due to the popularity of reservation dates, after confirming your dates with the Glogowskis via email or phone, deposits must be received within 10 days or you will lose your reservation week.
Cancellations:
If a renter requests to cancel their reservation after the deposit is received, every effort will be made to re-rent for that week. The deposit will only be returned if we are able to re-rent that week.
Deposits will not be returned if the renter decides to cancel within 45 days of the reservation date.
